Dr Carina Norris has a passion to spread the word on healthy eating in the 21st Century, with practical, user-friendly and evidence-based advice.
Carina is a registered nutritionist with the specialism of Public Health (RNutr, Public Health). She has a PhD, as well as an MSc (distinction) in Public Health Nutrition, from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh. Carina’s PhD research on children’s nutrition was covered in the national media and radio. She was the nutritionist for Channel 4’s Turn back your Body Clock, and wrote the book to accompany the series, as well as several other books, including four of the ‘You Are What You Eat’ books.
Carina is a member of the Association for Nutrition’s Registration and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Committees. She also assesses applications from nutritionists wishing to join the Association for Nutrition’s register. She currently carries out a variety of writing, broadcasting and consulting work, including devising diets and recipe analysis, mainly for national magazines and newspapers.
